Between now and Christmas, I'll be highlighting a rare, special, or absurd item from EBay that might just be perfect for the NFL fan in your life.

Santa's Lead Blocker feels dirty this morning. The item towards which I'd like to point your attention today is this Oakland Raiders man thong, also sometimes referred to as a "banana hammock." I don't think this one's officially licensed by the NFL, and if it is, I can't find a picture of Tom Brady modeling one anywhere in their catalog. I've been looking for two hours.

I think my favorite part of this picture is that the man depicted in the Raiders logo doesn't seem to mind at all what's poking at him from behind. He seems to have a mellow, comfortable, satisfied smile on his face. I am very happy for the joy that he's found.

I bet these are very popular in prison. And at just $4.50, you can afford to get them for every fan of the Raiders, or any fan of good solid undergarment fashion, on your Christmas list. All sizes are available (I'd need about an extra yard of fabric), and many other teams, too, although the only other team currently for sale is the Philadelphia Eagles.

If you're considering the Eagles thong, I feel like I should remind you exactly how cold it is in Philadelphia this time of year. Just something to think about.
